These terms apply to the photography services Lanternhome provides and to your use of this website. By requesting a booking, you agree to them.

Booking requests

Submitting a request through this website does not reserve a time. Your appointment is confirmed only when we confirm it with you by email.

Pricing and estimates

• Real estate photography is priced at $0.15 per square foot of finished space, with a $200 minimum. Optional services are priced as shown when you book.
• Interior design photography is priced at $600 per hour, with a one-hour minimum.
• Totals shown on this website are estimates based on the information you provide. If the property is materially larger than stated, or the scope changes on site, we will tell you before adjusting the price.

Payment

Payment is due before final images are released, unless we agree otherwise in writing. We will send an invoice with payment instructions.

Access and preparation

You are responsible for arranging access to the property at the confirmed time, for having the owner’s permission for us to photograph it, and for preparing the home. Our preparation checklist is a helpful guide. We do not move heavy furniture or valuables.

Weather and aerial photography

Exterior, twilight and aerial photography depend on the weather and, for aerial work, on airspace rules. If conditions do not allow safe or legal flight or good results, we will reschedule that part of the shoot or remove it from your invoice.

Image licensing

Real estate photography

We grant the agent or brokerage that books the shoot a non-exclusive license to use the images to market and sell or lease the photographed property, including on the MLS, websites, social media and printed materials. The license does not transfer to other parties, such as builders, stagers, other agents or future owners, without our written permission.

Interior design photography

We grant the designer or firm that books the session a non-exclusive license to use the images to promote their own work, including on their website, social media, portfolios and award submissions. Publication by third parties, and use by other vendors on the project, require our written permission and photo credit.

In all cases, Lanternhome keeps the copyright to the images and may use them to promote our own work.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the shoot in question.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time you book applies to that booking.
